The check engine light is on on my 1995 T100. I am looking for the port to plug in the code reader. I have an OBDII Actron which according to the company should be correct for the 1995 (95 was a transition year from OBD I, but the 95 Toyota supposedly had OBDII). I see a port on top of the engine in a box call Diagnosis, but the Actron connector does not fit. Is the correct port (DLC?) in the dash? I need assistance finding it. Thanks in advance. Steve

The OBDII port should be to yer right when yer sitting in the driver"s seat...under the dash...near the radio.

"...transition year..." You need to determine whether you truck is OBDI or OBDII! Pre-Tacoma trucks were OBDI.

yup. the one in the engine bay is for the dealer to use. you have to have a special toyota specific reader to use that one.

From the little research I"ve done it seems that the 3.4L 5VZ-FE V6 was only made with OBD II, they never even put OBD I on them. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Is I"m right then I will immediately start saving for the Banks IQ Dashboard PC and accompanying Toyota chip modifier!!
