So my 06 odyssey has an aux button on radio but I can’t seem to find the port?? I searched where they usually are in cars like glove box in the compartment under climate controls. And no luck? Is there a button on radio because it’s not the original or am I blind or do I need a kit. ??? Help this noob with odyssey ???

There is no Aux port available in Honda Odyssey 2006. I have LX model of the same car. The Aux port is available behind the radio. You have to run the cable from behind the radio. I bought cable from ebayHere is the YouTube link for installation instructions.https://youtu.be/Ez6BWYzkASs

Not in a 2005 - 2007. Not sure if its in 2008 and 2009. I am sure it is in the 2010 but it could have been in 2008+

Actually, the higher end Gen3 has them in the 3rd row driver"s side arm rest. They are the A/V type connectors. Pretty sure it"s only in models with RES and that in 08 they added a jack in the front. My 07 has it and if I run a long cord to it I can use my phone to play through the head unit. I plan on adding one to the front, check out the threads I added to this post for more info.http://www.tasiilaq.net/forums/52-2005-2010-odyssey/336642-add-aux-07-ex.html

The 2006 Honda Odyssey LX, EX, EXL (and possibly higher trims) did not come with a factory AUX input port. The wire bundle that is plugged into the back of the factory radio marked AUX leads to a similar (male) plug that is located on the left side footwell. Back in the day, there were promotions where you"d get "free" XM Radio for a few months and the receiver was attached to the plug in the left side footwell (was not offered at the time we bought our 06). You can find an AUX-interface on the internet and install it so you can connect your device to the earphone output or with a bluetooth adapter.Another option would be to swap out the factory radio with an aftermarket dash adapter and radio with bluetooth, aux inputs/etc. You"d get information about what is playing, and you"d be able to get hands free calling--the radio mutes while you are on the phone.Hope this helps.
