05-Sep-2009 --

This was difficult to get. I was acquisition a pilgrimage down to Tracy arm for the three day weekend and decided I"d try to hit this one.

You are watching: 58 26 n 134 13 w

On Saturday the seas were to run 3"-5" with about a 20 node wind. Fortunately I managed to not just hit the tasiilaq.net ideal on (see the gps track), but I likewise managed to obtain the shot of the GPS. The watercraft was really rockin" and also rollin" and I virtually fell under looking through the viewfinder. The directional picture are around NW, NE, SW and also SE but standing on optimal of a pitching moving vessel... Well, one does ones best.

I also could have acquired this on the way back this morning (Monday) except the photos would have actually been really boring. The seas were flat calm and not a breath the wind, yet the visibility was around 30 yards since of FOG! walk figure.

I"ve consisted of a photograph inside Tracy eight taken Sunday of among the glaciers at the end. The hills rise to over 4000 feet and also the water depth can be over 1200 feet. It to be an overcast day, but much much better than the ahead day.
